About Brik

Wepa! My name is Brik and I’m your official Puerto Rico travel guide!

I was born and raised in Puerto Rico my whole life, where I’ve been lucky enough to learn, visit, and discover many of the island’s natural, historic, and cultural attractions.

From 2010 to 2013 I moved to the USA to study Marketing. When I returned to Puerto Rico at the end of 2013, I felt the need to reconnect to Puerto Rico, revisit and rediscover all of the places and things that I had missed so much while living outside of Puerto Rico.

During this time, I posted photos and videos on my personal social media accounts of my adventures and started receiving many questions from people wanting to discover the places I was visiting themselves. 

This got me thinking about potential opportunities so, I began researching the market and I noticed that there was a need to create informative and entertaining travel content about Puerto Rico, specifically for English-speaking visitors. So, in 2021 I decided to create my YouTube Channel, Brik’s Travel Guides, dedicated to helping people explore the common and uncommon parts of Puerto Rico.

Though the channel grew slowly during the first few months, I continued publishing travel guides and focused on providing as much value to people interested in visiting and planning their trip to Puerto Rico. 

It’s been three years since I published my first travel guide in 2021 and we’ve created a growing community of more than 10,000 subscribers on YouTube and amassed more than 740,000 views with a total of 20 video travel guides of different municipalities and attractions from all around Puerto Rico.

More recently, I’ve been developing travel planning services and digital products that help visitors plan their trip and allow them to spend less time stressing and more time enjoying their visit to Puerto Rico.
